A MODERN MENAGERIE

There’s a bit of baby fever running through my circle of friends at the moment. Just like weddings, the baby showers seem to come in bunches, and next month will find me with quite a few of them, which has had me shopping online for baby blankets, toys, and gear more than ever. Perhaps that’s why when I saw this stunning wedding location…  all I could think of was how beautiful it would be as a nursery??

The whimsical setting of  Aynhoe Park in Oxfordshire lends itself to parties and weddings that don’t take themselves too seriously – the perfect inspiration for a room that should free the imagination of a child, while maintaining a bit of sophistication for the grown ups…

I love the dash of modernity with classic pieces (doesn’t the white shelving perfectly mimic the molding in the inspiration image?). The ‘gumball’ rug plays the same roll as the balloons, adding a fun atmosphere to the space, and of course, you can’t ignore the giraffe!

Darling, you’ve made me swoon twice in one day. First your new office space and now this magical, whimsical, fantastical setting. The balloons add just the right touch. A place where dreams are made (and will certainly come true).
    Live beautifully,
    Cynthia
