Hi there! It’s Sarah from Smitten Studio. While Cassandra is on the other side of the globe, I thought I would keep the travel theme going by giving you a peek of what is in my suitcase while I am also abroad in New Zealand. After every trip I take, I vow to be a better packer the next time around. This time I planned ahead and found pieces like this Mara Hoffman Cover up/dress that can easily take me from a beach day to a night in the city. Here is how I am styling it from day to night.
Paired with the Rachel Zoe Sandals, Straw Hat, Mara Hoffman Beach Bag and my Vix Bikini, the Mara Hoffman dress is perfect for a day at the beach.
When it comes time for a night out on the town, I’ll trade in the beach ware for some ankle Boots , a clutch, a pretty statement necklace and a leather jacket (in case it gets chilly).
Since we have been on the go and will be driving around in a caravan most of the trip, I wanted to find comfy but stylish pieces that I can easily get away with wearing throughout our entire stay and this dress does just that. Of course I could easily go a little overboard in the shoe and accessories department but I figure that my other simple staple of blue jeans and a white tee would look just as great with all of the above, so I threw a few of those in there and then Bam!… I’m packed.
