Bonjour! I’m Brooke and blog about all the things I love over on Just B. When Cass let me know she was off to Africa, my first thought was, “Lucky girl, she’s escaping the Seattle rain.” And, second was “I need a vacation!”
Like I do for most of life’s great events, I dreamt up the perfect ensemble for my getaway. The current dream? Traveling to Cannes! French women have that impeccable style I’m always attempting to replicate, and styling an outfit around Cannes was easy, as I felt like the nautical and French touches compliment my personal style.
Whenever I’m packing on a trip, I try to keep my pieces color coordinated so more outfits can be made with fewer pieces. Packing minimally also doesn’t hurt you in the shopping abroad department either! Collecting small keepsakes on your travels always brings happy memories of the trip into your hom, too. Not sure when Cannes will be fitting into my schedule anytime soon but I think I’ll be sure to squeeze some time in the Spring to wear these pieces for any occasion possible!
