After a month of holiday focused posts (and life!), it feels so good to get back into a routine today, doesn’t it? And on a Wednesday too, which means the weekend is just around the corner! During the little time I took off, I felt like I finally found a bit of inspiration and energy again, so I’m ready to hit the ground running today as we dive into this new year! Starting with a fresh little palette…
I have to say that there’s nothing new here as far as these colors go – they have been long-time favorites of mine. I’ve always loved shades of blushing pinks and nudes with olive, and olive with citron has this great natural energy, so putting all three together just makes it even better. I’ve seen this combination used in fashion and interiors before, but never quite with this edge.
I’m especially loving it in this entryway by Ruthie Sommers. The fabric on those doors captures the combination perfectly and the high-gloss black walls (and even the floors) lend a modern vibe balancing it all.
