This week I’m working on our next major tabletop for coco+kelley, and one piece I always seem to forget about until the last minute is the menus. (Maybe because we’re not actually putting on a dinner most of the time!) But, for this next photo shoot, the meal is sort of part of the inspiration, so I spent a little time yesterday gathering ideas for this upcoming tabletop, and discovered a few pretty unique menus in the process that I thought I’d share…
This sweet little brunch held by Sarah Seven had many lovely little details, not the least of which were the menus created to look like embroidery. A little crafty, a little elegant, and quite original!
Another favorite was this calligraphy linen menu via Style Me Pretty. I love the way it drapes off of the table – so elegant and old-world. Plus, they’d make a lovely souvenir for the evening, don’t you think?
And then there’s this beauty! An alternative to the usual rectangle menus, I love the way that circular menus can sit (and stay!) right on a charger or larger dinner plate for the evening so they don’t end up floating around the table. This one just seemed exceptionally gorgeous against that bold china. With weddings, people seem to always go for soft, subtle styling, so I get excited when I see something a little more dramatic!
Have you stumbled upon any others that strike your fancy? I think I’ve figure out what we’ll be doing for our shoot, but I’d love to hear of any of your favorites!

I’ve grown to love linen menus, but I love the first menu on the embroidery circle! Can’t wait to see what you put together for your table scape!
