Today you’ll be seeing a few of (what I might guess are) your favorite bloggers participating in a fun contest handed to us by the new shopping site, Mark & Graham. The challenge? To put together a fabulous holiday tabletop using some of the pieces from their line! If you haven’t heard of them, Mark & Graham is the newest brand from william-sonoma and it’s all about monogram and personalization. They have some wonderful accessories, and I was so inspired by the pieces they sent…
For this holiday setting, I wanted to go with fresh and playful elements with a little bit of graphic punch. The goblets, monogram linen napkins and personalized carafe were what I had to work with. So, I pulled my everyday white dishes from the cupboard and layered on my Noritake accent china , paired each setting with my West Elm gold flatware, and added some glassware from my collection.
Then, of course, it was time for all the details. I loved the idea of a casual handwritten menu clipped to the napkins, and adding some whimsy to the settings with little gifts packaged up in festive paper bags. (The gift tags are also from Mark & Graham and are actually chalkboard tags but I had no chalk to speak of on hand!).
One of my favorite elements of the table was how I arranged the florals in a vintage glassware and then floated it in a modern vase. The rims happened to match up perfectly. Wouldn’t it be cool do to a whole bunch of these together?
Here’s a better shot of the carafe where you can see I had them etch the word ‘pour’ into it. I love that you don’t have to just do monogramming, but can get creative with wording too!
And I am currently very much enjoying this arrangement in my office right now!It turned out so fun. I love how the black berries and centers to the flowers mimic the black polkda dot wrapping paper!
What do you guys think!? Overall, I think this tabletop is pretty easy to pull together for just about anyone! And, I mentioned, a few of my favorite gals are also participating in the challenge, so don’t forget to check out their tabletops as well! Camille Styles, Caitlin at Sacramento Street, Emily Henderson, and Jenny at Little Green Notebook will all have their posts up by tomorrow! Then the fun really starts.
Tomorrow, Mark & Graham will be posting all our tabletops on their facebook page where YOU will be voting for your favorites! Whoever gets the most likes will win a little shopping spree at Mark & Graham, and so could you! Just by voting, you’re automatically entered for a $500 gift card!

Love, loving this! The colors are so fresh and we adore that square wreath. We’re all about square this holiday season!

I love the gold metallic menu. Are they from Mark & Graham also?
Daaang! I’m so in love with your wreath! Minimal = best. And the little peek of polka dots on your table top. Unexpected and adorable for the holidays.

Love the juniper berries & the vintage + modern mix with the centerpiece. Beautiful job! Styling is so fun.
I LOVE this table design! Especially the way the polka dot details pick up on the feeling of the berries in the arrangement. Neat how you floated the green glass inside another bowl too! We kind of did a clean and bright table this year too. Though totally different in feeling. http://www.umastewart.com/blog/2012/12/12/tablescapes-holiday-setting/
Good luck with the contest!
Yours would have to be my favourite of the five! So fresh, fun and fabulous! Love all the special little details!
thank you SO much lisa!!
Love the layout AND the great green with the subtle monogramming.
(oh, and “pour” was a stroke of genius — Alice in Wonderland style)
