These days, it’s starting to feel not quite enough to simply escape the city to suburbia during the holidays. In my head, I’m ready to run off to the country, turn off my phone, and enjoy the peace and quiet and wide open spaces…
How lovely would it be to rent a big house with a few families and host a fabulous Christmas feast? I’d break out board games like scrabble and curl up by the fireplace with spiked hot cocoa and classic holiday music on in the background…
And I’d wake up every morning in abed just like this… ‘Tis the season to dream, right my dears? Wishing you a wonderful cozy weekend!

I always love the photos here! These make me want to take a romantic vacation in the countryside!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all of this. But my favorite is the bedroom. It looks super cozy!
Lovely post. The beautiful herringbone ribbon with the cedar and brown paper wrap comes from the talented Lindsay Stephenson at The Penny Paper Co. I purchased the ribbon and it is amazing!

Thanks Michelle! I thought it was from there but I couldn’t find the image on there! I’ll update the link
Your last picture is from Victoria Magazine, years and years ago! I loved it, had it in my inspiration file for years…
