There’s something so fresh about this combination, especially in a rich emerald…
For the tabletop, I wanted to keep things simple, playful and modern – you’ll get to see it all tomorrow! But, tabletops aren’t the only place I’ve been thinking of adding more green.
As I mentioned in my office update post last week, I’m contemplating some wall paint… and what’s more obvious than choosing green!? So, I’ve been scouting colors at Valspar where I discovered my last favorite paint color. With their ‘love your color‘ guarantee, if I don’t like they color, it’s no biggie – I’ll just try another! If I don’t like the first one, they offer a complimentary replacement color! I’m thinking ‘stilettos’ sounds pretty spot on. Something like this…
Gorgeous and rich and perfectly jewel-toned, right? I think it would look especially great as an accent to the rest of the white walls and my camel-colored chairs. Any other suggestions for paint colors?

Ooo that screened in porch is delicious. I love the idea of white half way up the wall and green above. With a rich color like that it helps tame it a bit.
I’ve never done a green wall, but its nice to know they stand behind their colors. Makes it much safer to go bold.
I love green, but not this shade. I’ll be glad when Pantone discovers subtler shades and makes one of them its “Colour of the Year”.
