I have a hunch that if I put on a red coat I’d begin to walk and talk a little more like Blair Waldorf. Do you ever feel like putting on certain pieces of clothing is like putting on a new persona? It’s no wonder that politicians and authority figures wear red when they want to look (and feel) powerful.
In the winter I often feel like my wardrobe doesn’t get the attention it deserves, hidden underneath a big black overcoat. But with this look the red coat is really worn more like a dress. A coat and heels makes up the entire look! Once you’ve got that coat on you’ll probably feel empowered to add a bold red lip and take over the world, or at least your to-do list.
