KEEP CALM…

It seems like the entire east coast is attempting to keep calm today amongst this crazy storm… the rest of us aren’t doing much better as I sit and worry about my friends on the other side of the country and wonder if I’ll be making it out there at all this week (my flight was supposed to leave yesterday – that obviously didn’t happen!).

In the meantime, I’ve decided to fill my day with calming visions like this one…

I’ve been minorly obsessed with this kitchen ever since I came across it a few days ago. Symmetry, white, brass, double refrigerators and plenty of counter and storage space. What’s not to love? It also made me realize…

We’ve become so used to kitchens with seating in them, that it’s sort of refreshing to not see stools scattered around a kitchen island. On the other hand… is it practical? I think I’d need a big long table right in front of those gorgeous cabinets at the very least. The kitchen really has become the center of daily living for many families. Still… I love how clean and dreamy this feels…

You are SO FORTUNATE that you did NOT get on that flight…it is a mess. We still have power (generator is ready) at the moment. “Your” kitchen is a delight! franki

I myself just moved to the west coast just in time, but hoping all my loved ones are safe, it’s a good thing you didn’t get on the flight. But I’ve always had a love for white decor, and the brass detailing on these cabinets is stunning, it almost makes them appear as a wood burning stove.
