HAPPY DISCOVERIES :: DESIGN LEGACY

Good morning friends! I hope you all had a fantastic fall weekend. Mine was spent dashing from one appointment to the next at High Point Market, finding some goodies for my Style Spotters pinterest board along with many other beautiful new pieces that I’ll be sharing with you soon. Yesterday, I visited the new showroom for Design Legacy to support my friend Heather Clawson in the release of her new book Creativity at Work and made a fun little discovery in the process…

Quite some time ago I had saved this fresh bedroom to my inspiration files, surprised at the fact that what I loved most about it was the use of a snake print on the bed. Not a look you’d normally go for in such a serene space, I loved this unexpected sexy creature in a pretty colourway – the snakes themselves creating a nice organic pattern. The only problem? I had no idea where to find the fabric.

Serendipitously, I happened to spend a little time checking out fabrics in the Design Legacy showroom, and, guess what? Snake print! In fact, they carry many beautiful botanical and animalia prints like this one. What do you think? Would you prefer pretties like butterflies and florals in the bedroom, or opt for something a little more daring…?

I also happened upon a brand new fabric there that hasn’t been released yet, but I’ve been promised a little sample in about a month… and I’m dying to use it somewhere in the new office! Cannot wait to share!!
