NYFW // REEM ACRA

Let me preface this post by saying this was one of may favorite shows of the entire week – my apologies if the post runs a little long…

The show opened with a group of simple dresses, skirts and pants in kelly green, white and black – all with intricate laser cut details and paired with brightly colored pumps. Then came a few very chic jump suites a few pops of red… and of course, the gowns!!

Look at those green pumps! Neon!

Red paneling - and a peek at some pattern.

Hello DRAMA!

The glam factor is off the charts here…

Calling all Princesses…!!

Thank you Ms Acra. Who wants to take bets on which of these will show up on the Red Carpet this awards season?

Oh my God, these clothes are actually wearable! And beautiful!

What on earth was Ms. Acra thinking? Doesn’t she know that, if she wants to see her fashions published in Vogue or Bazaar, she’s supposed to make weird, ugly, uncomfortable looking stuff?

Well, good for her! I saw at least 6 pieces of hers I’d love to own. Sign me up!

Gee, I agree, I think “Bazaar” has become more bizarre than useful. franki
p.s. Note to “Bazaar” read “Coco & Kelley!”
