Day three of New York Fashion Week was a BUSY one for me (for those of you keeping track – I had to skip day 2 for a wedding!) I started out at the Catherine Malandrino presentation Sunday morning – she showed a gorgeous collection in a very springy palette of pale pink, mint and white with a touch of not-so-springy black.
This mix of soft and hard was an overall theme of the collection - described in the show notes as “Someplace between the romantic spirit of the French and the timelessness of American sportswear” – here is a Spring line that is truly sporty-chic!

How well does she do pants? I’m obsessed!

Great mix of texture in the details – also, check out the metallic nails!

Oh – hello yellow jumpsuit & bright orange heels, you’re a fun little pop!

Somehow the collection is loose and laid back at the same time as being incredibly structured. It’s a fabulous mix, don’t you think?

The designer herself chatting about the collection!
Coming up next - Day 3 part 2: Tracy Reese & Timo Weiland.
