Good morning friends! This week is going to be a little different and a lot of fun around here! I’m so excited to be a part of the 7 After 7 campaign with a group of fashion bloggers I adore, and a denim company – 7 For All Mankind – that is a classic in my book. But, make no mistake. Classic, in this case, does not mean boring, because 7 has come out with a whole new amazing line for fall that’s all about taking things to the next level with some killer metallics…
Like my all-time favorite – gold gold gold.
Let’s talk about outfitting here for minute. First off – I love how denim has become so unexpectedly edgy and fun in past years. We’ve seen color and prints, but adding a little shimmer might be my favorite. When I first slipped on these gold pants, I was tempted to go with the obvious black to glam it up. But, taking a look at trends for fall, I decided to go a little bit country and opted for a subtle Western feel…
Pairing these jeans with my staple chambray top was an obvious step, but tucking a sheer white lace blouse under keeps it sexy and easy to transition into night, which is perfect for me. As a gal who is always running from meetings to happy hours to dinners without a chance to change, a good day-to-night look is essential in my rotation!
And don’t forget a killer accessory to top things off! I’m always a sucker for a statement ring.
What do you think? Is this a look you could recreate, or would you do something else with this shimmering denim?
7 For All Mankind sent me a ton of styles to make my own, which means I’ve shot more street style in the past week than I have in my life, getting ready to share all my favorites with you! I hope you’ll enjoy us switching things up a bit around here and gettin’ our fall fashion on. Oh, and those other bloggers I was talking about? Check out the Denim Dossier to see their styles too!

Cassandra your choice of pairing the gold beauties with lace and chambray is genius and sweet enough for everyday. The pictures are great too.
P.s :Have you ever thought about going a little bit lighter with your hair? I can picture you rocking a rich chocolate color right now darling

I came across their metallic gold denim jacket recently and just incorporated into my outfit of the week!
I couldn’t reply to your reply Cassandra, so I have to comment in a new one. I am so glad we are on the same track about your hair change. At first I was thinking reach brown like these :

But after some thought, I would suggest you two other options:
1-keep growing out your hair and color it in aubergine color (yes aubergine)
2- if you want to go all the way for drastic change, rock a pixie with a dark shiny black color. Don’t run, I don’t want you to look ugly, I just imagined you like that and you looked good. Think of Ginnifer Goodwin’s chic pixie.
Whatever you decide, just let us know soon
