GET THE {NAUTICAL} LOOK

Hey everyone! I’m feeling totally inspired by Cass’s sailing adventure (and I’m sure I’m not the only one!). Now let me preface this by saying I’ve never been sailing, but if I were to go my packing list would have to involve some mariner’s stripes, a parka, and some interior design magazines! I never want to look like I’m trying too hard, but that is especially true when relaxing in the great outdoors, so here are a few low-maintenance looks that I’d proudly sport on a nautical getaway.

Stripes already make up a majority of my wardrobe, and I’m always looking for an excuse to pull out my wellies so I feel like a sailing trip would suit me quite well! To get the look today I’ve pulled together a few nautical-inspired pieces with a bit of form and function.

As much as I love my heels, my laptop, and my iPhone, I think I could really revel in some time apart from them for a few days!

Agreed! As wonderful as technology is, it’s far too easy to get to the point where it controls your life instead of the other way around. Love the photos – there is nothing I love more than a good striped top :)

    xoxo
