I’ve always been fascinated by the bold style of Judy Aldridge – the woman behind the blog Atlantis Home and the fashionable mother behind Jane at Sea of Shoes. To me, she finds that perfect mix of glamorous, cheeky, daring and refined. One might say, she’s a perfect muse for the coco+kelley girl, which is why I was so thrilled that we were featuring her (and Jane!) in the Texas Issue of Rue! (I mean, how could we not?).
Some of you may remember we actually published the home that this mom + daughter duo shared in our second issue. Since then, they’ve moved into their own homes, and I love seeing how Judy has placed her current furniture into a brand new space. Very similar to the old, with some minor tweaks to location, she kept the living room very much the same, but with the light walls and floor it takes on a different feel.
I’m still very much obsessed with the green marbleized fabric on the dining room chairs and the loveseat that has now found a home in her bedroom.
Not to mention the headboard!
And it wouldn’t be an Aldridge home without some fashion accessories being used as home accessories…
