Mint green just won’t seem to go away. Personally, I’m much more drawn to wearing it than decorating with it. But in doing some brainstorming this weekend on fabric possibilities for a client… I may have been persuaded to consider this cool color…
While I think covering an entire sofa may be going a bit far, I do love it as as accent chair, which is how we’d be using it. I find it surprisingly sophisticated when paired with simple black + white, and downright gorgeous against a good plum. It plays nicely with wood tones and enhances any type of metallic accents, but especially a beautiful bronze. Perhaps a nice strong mint is the new aqua? What do you think?

I love the photo from Little Green Notebook — it’s a perfect use of that color!
Happy Monday!
yess! perfection. now i know what color to repaint the old dresser I have and reupholster the vintage chair as well! yey
I totally agree about wearing it more than decorating with it! That said, I used to have a mint green chair and loved it so I am loving the chair in the second photo!
YES! I think a mint accent chair sounds like perfection!
I really like it against the navy and I like the idea of bronze accents, too!
I wouldn’t expect how well the pop of mint works here, but I can’t take my eyes off of it. It is AMAZING!
Loving that mint green accent chair!! What a great way to incorporate the splash of colour.
Ack! Mint meets industrial cool- amazing!
Never thought of this color in a room, but it looks amazing!
Thanks for the post!

You are SO speaking my language! First…I have two minty/green/aqua leather chairs around the kitchen table. Then…I just bought plum jeans to wear with my minty green top AND I’m drinking a creme de menthe “shot” with my coffee. franki
Ooo, I do love the daring use on the sofa!
