Hey everyone, Cristina here from Fuji Files with a fun Get the Look for those who dare to bare. Your midriff, that is. Don’t worry – this is not your Britney Spears, hip-hugger-jeans midriff, my friends. On the contrary this look requires a high waist and a dose of vintage-inspired sophistication!!
While crop tops seem more like a late-summer staple, you’ll notice Candice Lake (third from the left) sporting this style with a jacket. Adding a blazer or sweater may help you to feel more comfortable, and I think covering up with a cardigan only adds to the 50′s flair. Judging by these ladies, the classic A-line skirt is the silhouette of choice when it comes to baring a little midriff skin.
For my version of this look, I wanted to bring even more of a fall feel, so I’ve paired a cropped sweater with a dark ankle boot and a wool hat… what do you think? Are you ready to show a little skin?

In all honesty, I HATED this trend when it first arrived. But it’s has certainly grown on me! I love the idea of a maxi skirt with cropped top to keep things from being over-exposed.
I love the peak-a-boo look, it’s sexy without being messy. The look you came up with is really cute
Okay… I kind of love it. I didn’t at first but it’s starting to grow on me.

This trend is definitely growing on me…I tried it in one of my post and it ended up not being that bad! It’s very edgy in my opinion!

I love this look! But I have no clue where and when I could actually pull it off. Still, I say yes!
