You’d have thought that returning home from Texas today would have granted me a little relief from the heat… definitely not so. My apartment has turned into a hot box and I’m counting down the hours until the sun sets and it cools off a bit around here…
So, in the meantime, I think I’ll call it an early weekend, and mix me up a little somethin’ somethin’…
I’m feelin a little fabulously retro, like I should be floating around in a vintage caftan right now… or a bikini (the less the better). They call this recipe The Frenchy, but with its sunset coloring and tropical flavor, I think it needs a new summer vacation-inspired name. Thoughts?
The Frenchy:
*1 1/2 oz Pear Vodka
*3 oz Pineapple Juice
*1 oz Cranberry Juice
In a chilled rocks glass filled with ice, add your vodka and pineapple juice. Top with a splash of cranberry juice. Drink umbrella and hammock optional.
