JUST ONE LITTLE PROBLEM…

It’s Friday morning, and I feel like I’ve finally nailed down every detail for next week’s anniversary party except one little problem…

I have absolutely no idea what I’m wearing. There are a few dresses in the back of my closet that have been waiting to make their debut that could be a possibility. But, I’ve spent hours hunting online the last few nights to no avail. It’s that strange time where summer dresses are on their way out and fall is coming in (already!?) so the selections seem slim and sizes sporadic.

I want sassy, summery, flirty, fabulous, and maybe a little frothy. I’m finding a lot of black. This is a problem. So, wish me luck guys and gals, because this weekend will find me hunting for a dress! And if you see anything that fits the bill… send it my way!

Have a fantastic weekend all!!

Have fun hunting for your perfect dress! I always have the same problem… And indeed fall collection is already coming, but I’m sure you’ll find a stunning, flirty dress that fits the occasion perfectly! :-)

Good luck! Just don’t buy something expensive you will never wear again. Ideally I am picturing you wearing a kimono like long dress in a vibrant color like fuchsia/turquoise/yellow/orange or with a bold print. You can always have a look at the style of this lady http://blog.mrslilien.com/ (You can find resources for what I am talking about)

    Have a great party!

thanks for all your suggestions lisa! i tried on ONE long dress this weekend that i really loved… the problem is being 5’2″ that they usually require some hemming… and i’ve run out of time! and yes, i know mrs lilien very well. she would have loved the yellow dress i tried on, in fact!

Then I guess you can choose something from what your already have, there MUST be something summery or neutral/pastel. This is the only way you can enjoy your party and not make it like you’re going to prom (with all the running until the last minute, at least it was like that for me). Have fun !
