I love a 6-inch stiletto, a high platform, and most of all a good boot, but if we’re being honest I can’t swing those most days! Cristina here with a look that I’m absolutely head over heels for. I especially love the way a pair of sneakers can dress down your more formal pieces that rarely see the light of day. Rock that little black dress or even a mini-skirt all day, and if you need to you can slip on a pair of heels for night (although I doubt you’ll want to give the sneakers up!).
A bright pair of sneaks is also a fun way to bring in a small dose of the neon trend, perfect for summer. But my number one reason to love this look? Comfort of course! I’ve spent my fair share of days in shoes that I’d convinced myself were comfortable – “these heels are totally comfortable, they have a high platform” – but we can all read the telltale of signs of a woman struggling in her heels, and it isn’t pretty. As an added bonus there are loads of colorful, customizable sneakers to choose from, which makes for fun shopping!

haha, I could never pull this off, but I love the concept. Especially because DC is full of women who wear sneakers on their work commute. This is totally a way to do it stylishly!
I didn’t even think of that, but yes women already do this all the time when commuting!

I love this idea! I don’t think I would be brave enough to do it, but I am in the market for new sneakers, so seeing a little inspiration is nice.
I love that watch and that bracelet! Thanks so much for sharing!
Ha! This totally reminds me of being in fifth grade and watching my mom put on her sneakers over her nylons before heading out the door for work. This is, of course, so so much better. Love it.

I love this! I just bought some fantastic teal Nike’s for working out, but could totally use them in an every-day sports inspired outfit as well!
I’m thinking leather skirt, grey tee, neon blazer and nike free runs! Perfect for Spring (coming up in NZ).

I Love this look, I’m a tomboy at heart so anything at makes dressing up more comfortable (especially for an NYC commute) I’m all about. Loved the sneaks that were featured so much, I went on the search, only problem is that they are a men’s shoe…wish the items that were featured cloud be attainable!
