FASHIONABLE DETAILS :: JUST ADD CHARTREUSE

In general, my wardrobe consists of a LOT of black and white. Which I don’t mind. It’s classic, yet always fresh at the same time. Of course, adding a burst of color into that mix certainly doesn’t hurt, and this summer I’m thinking I might need that color to be chartreuse…

Let’s be honest – this color definitely looks better in the summer against tan skin, and I love this simple, casual look with just a hint of black in those comfy sneakers (yay for practical walking shoes that also deliver style!).

If the first option is to high-contrast for you, swap out white for nude and find options in feminine layers to soften up this bold hue. Don’t forget to belt for shape!

To bring an unexpected element  to an outfit, pull out those accessories you usually reserve for fall (dark polish and booties) and rock ‘em all summer long.

I like the chartreuse post but I am completely blown away by the new site! The photographs completely pop and the overall layout is so clean. This looks as polished as an online magazine. To say that I love it doesn’t cover it.

You set a very high bar. : )

I love the color and I purchased a dress last summer in the color. Truth be told I have never worn it! I love it but haven’t quite figured out what to wear with it. It is so bold and beautiful already that pairing another color with it is out of the question. I am not one to wear bright colors with out using a blazer to help tone it down a bit. I guess I must look for a white or cream blazer!

The first picture with the top and the converse shoes. This is the most perfect outfit with the tomboy touch!
