HIGH POINT :: NEW BEGINNINGS AT BERNHARDT

There are few large showrooms that I haven’t been into at High Point, but Bernhardt is one of them. That changed this past market as they were one of my sponsors, and I can honestly say I’m so glad they were! Their story is similar to many: A more traditional brand looking to update their line – to move with the market and the trends a bit more – but stay true to their style. Sounds familiar to many of us, right?

Once again, I managed to match the setting perfectly. We had a good giggle over that!
The first few vignettes were fresh and charming, like this one. A big trend at market were these dips and scallops in sofa backs – everywhere! The dining chairs were one of my favorites for their perfect scale. So many wingback dining chairs are so high, or wrap around too much, blocking the faces of people right next to you. These are so ideal.
Speaking of favorites…
These three really took the cake for me. The bench was totally modern and delicious, the desk perfect for city living, and the porthole inspired bedside table one of the most original pieces I saw during my trip! I loved the storage inside of it too.
I also thought these were pretty sassy. In fact there were a fair number of more statement style pieces in the showroom…

Dear lord, please let me have a house big enough for that dining table someday. It’s got that perfect indoor/outdoor vibe, doesn’t it? The lines and scale of the coffee table and bed were also impressive. Certainly not for all, but one of those pieces that in the right room, for the right person, would be spot on.

What do you think? Spy any pieces that would make it into your home or client’s homes? You can see many more of the new introductions that are a part of the Bernhardt Interiors line right here.

One of the most charming things I saw in the Bernhardt showroom (me being there all day, every day) was YOU, Cassandra :) Thank you for appreciating what we offer and for sharing it with your friends.
