It started with just a little dose. Richly colored peonies. A throw blanket….
Then it grew into accent pieces. Preferably with a touch of brass hardware, just to make things extra glamorous.
But before I knew it, I was having a full on love affair. With fuschia.
I mean, seriously? How could you not want (or at least appreciate) this true jewel box moment. While I certainly wouldn’t want my entire home this way… a nice little study? The office? Definitely. I think this may be my summer color!
And while we’re on the topic… I’m obsessed with finding the perfect shade of fuschia lipstick. Any suggestions on a shade to further my infatuation?

holy moly!! that campaign dresser is amazing!!
I had the same progression. At first I was loving just a pop here and there and then I needed just a little more. And then more. And then I found that I couldn’t get enough fuchsia – I’m an addict!
I really love pops of color like this, especially for a smaller room in the house like you mentioned.
Yes, I found a gorgeous Fuchsia lipstick. It’s called Pomposity by MAC.
Thanks for sharing

It’s hot pink rather than fuschia, but nars’ funny face is my go-to rose hue : )
Gorgeous colour!

I have a great color I can send you from Mary Kay called simply Fuchsia. We have had it for years and it is a true Fuchsia color. My address is mnikoo@bellsouth if you are interested. BTW love your blog and all the wonderful things you are doing. Rue was awesome this month too. Bon journée!!
You can never go wrong with a pop of fuchsia.
love the colors!!!
In the second picture – that is a Lulie Wallace painting. Her work is GREAT!
Hi, fuchsia (I think you have a typo in the text) is a gorgeous colour!
Thank you for sharing one of my designs from the Society Social magalog!
if only you could bottle up the actual color of a fuschia purple orchid youd be RICH…. such an AMAZING color.
I have a library in my house and the built-ins are currently painted a glossy black but that fushia bookshelves are calling me.. what color paint would you suggest?
Thank you
Oh boy, I think I just audibly sighed at that gorgeous fuchsia chest of drawers. Wow.
I didn’t know I could be so in love with such a rich color in a room! I would totally go for this color in a study or office! What a pick me up!
I like the first one the best, definitely.
That’s the awesome thing about neutral rooms – you can add ANY colour and they will look amazing. I would never have chosen fuchia but it looks stunning.
