When I mentioned it was going to be a crazy week, I may have left out the fact that I have not one but two shoots that I’m working on for our next issue of Rue. The second one is with the fabulous ladies of hens & chicks collective where we’ve got some floral-inspired goodness up our sleeves…
Every shoot requires a little concepting, so I thought I’d share a peek at some of the ideas inspiring us at the moment! Today I’m on the hunt to find the perfect location to shoot in – I’m dreaming of something like this…
Thanks to our unpredictable Seattle weather, we’ll have to shoot indoors, but to create our own little garden getaway, I’m envisioning a conservatory or room filled with lush plants…. finger’s crossed that it all comes together!

Flowers make anything and everything dreamy! Any venue – even a gas station potluck – can be dressed up and made heavenly with amazing blooms. I’m utterly obsessed with cool ways to showcase flowers after having a flower-filled bridal shower. http://the-wander-woman.com/high-tea-champagne-a-bridal-shower/ Thanks for the inspiration, Coco K! I love the flower garland…
