A BOLD (NEW) BOURDEAUX

Tonight at Neiman Marcus I’ll be helping to present some of the fall’s biggest trends with a mini fashion show featuring some of my favorite picks from the store. I’m so excited to be doing some fun things in the fashion arena, as you all know my work usually leans towards interiors. But I’m even more excited that one of their top trend picks also happens to be one of my current favorites: bordeaux!

Paired with a refreshing mint, tangerine or bold blue, this rich wine hue is taking on a whole new life far from the heavy, formal style it used to live in. I can’t wait to share some of the bordeaux looks we came up with for the show!

Burgundy is my least favorite color, especially on the walls. I think it makes everything look a bit old, outdated. Sorry…

But I’m ready for some fall colors. :-)

Beautiful! I have a strong feeling this may be my favorite color this fall. I keep seeing it pop up in fall lookbooks and previews and I love it a little bit more each time. It has such a richness to it – I am in love.
    Much love,

The outfit on the bottom left is to die for! Almost makes me wish it was fall right now…. almost. ;)
