Call me crazy but…
Going back to my love for glamorous design, I really love the risk designer Robin Bell took with the zebra wallpaper in this room. Take it away, and all your left with is a well designed and somewhat traditional room. But by adding it, she created modern and unique (and yes, a little over-the-top) space with great pattern and texture. I’m also looooving that coffee table, and the use of the shelving above the teeny bar cart to create extra storage for glasses and shakers. If this was a small corner of my home, I think I could actually live with it! What about you?

I can dig it.
that zebra wallpaper is stunning! while some people might think the whole setup is a little much, i could definitely get used to a place like that! simply gorgeous!
I absolutely love it! Amazing how animal prints can be such a classic and almost neutral. FABULOUS!!!
I am loving that room! The wallpaper makes it, it would be so blah without it I think.
i’m currently flipping through a book called the apartment book (it’s actually right here beside me) and this house if featured several times throughout. what a coincidence!
wow – that wall paper is insane! its a really nice photo =) but i cant imagine staying in that room for too long…
LOVE the room!
Oooh, I love the room!! I could live with it in a small area (although I do wonder how quickly I would tire of it…)
love. love. love!
Wow! This room is amazing – it definitely could have gone either way with the zebra wallpaper…but it works!! I love it!
I love it! And I’m usually not drawn to animal prints but this room is stunning!
What I really love about this room is that it’s a perfect example of mixing browns, taupes, and other warm neutrals with black and white—sometimes people think they have to stick with one palette or the other, and this shows that it is possible to mix them when you do it right!
well said, city sage! and so true. i love mixing neutrals. just like for years people would not wear gold AND silver jewelry together… but that’s been thrown out the window lately! it’s all about mixin’ it up. thanks for the comment!
Just wanted to let you know that we picked you up and featured you on TheHome.com http://thehome.com/2008/10/03/trends-around-the-web
FABULOUS find!!
i actually love how this room looks! i sat and looked…left the site, came back to the site…and really like it! tres chic!
although incredibly bold, this is super stylish at the same time. if rooms have the right personality about them no amount of beautiful animal print could deter the stylish eyes of an individual who loves design
