No, it’s not Degas. It’s a piece created by Tracy Luetkemeyer ~ a 19-year-old girl who recently passed away from a rare heart defect. Thanks to this post on Daily Dose: dominomag.com, I found that this artwork and a few others are available for purchase with all proceeds going directly to Children’s Hospital of Boston. I think this is one piece I can afford to add to my collection!
