Room of the Week 8.23

If you saw this room empty it might look like a bad swiss chalet nightmare… but a basic color scheme, some retro style, and keeping it simple give this little attic room a whole new, laid back style…. what do you think? Is it working?

We have a quirky attic bedroom, so I love seeing how people decorate similiar rooms. Keeping everything low to the ground seems like a good idea.

We are in the process of converting our “T” shaped walk-up attic to a bedroom for my son (in hopes of quieting the incessant arguing between the 2 of them.) Although our attic isn’t laid out quite the same way it’s always nice to see how other people have converted their spaces.

I definitely think the trick to this type of space is to keep it simple and low to the ground… good luck with your rooms!
